Selected for 100 Emerging Artworks of 2026
I am delighted to share that my work has been selected for inclusion in 100 Emerging Artworks of 2026, an international publication curated by the Arts to Hearts Project.
The publication brings together one hundred selected artworks by emerging artists from around the world and celebrates a diverse range of contemporary artistic voices. I am honoured to have my work included alongside so many talented artists.
My selected artworks are The First Ascent, The Eyes of the Messenger, and Before Words.
These paintings form part of my ongoing God's Rope series, a body of work inspired by my lifelong connection with animals. Through light, symbolism, and moments of quiet recognition, the series explores the belief that animals are sacred messengers whose presence can guide, comfort, and transform us.
The First Ascent explores spiritual guidance through the relationship between a woman and a white horse. Held in Heaven reflects on enduring guidance and intuition, while Before Words focuses on trust and communication beyond language.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: that meaningful connection often exists in the spaces where words are unnecessary. Animals have shaped the way I see the world, and through my paintings I hope to encourage others to notice the quiet moments of trust, compassion, and understanding that surround us every day.
I am grateful to the Arts to Hearts Project for this recognition and look forward to continuing to develop the God’s Rope series in the years ahead.
