Fleeting Freedom – A Sacred Painting of Divine Motion and Animal Messengers
Explore the story behind Fleeting Freedom, a symbolic horse and hummingbird painting from the God’s Rope series. A visual meditation on soul movement, grace, and divine timing.
There are moments that pass quickly - but change everything.
Fleeting Freedom was born from one of those moments. A black horse emerged in my vision, not galloping, but gliding - as if running through a prayer. Her mane moved like water, her hooves barely touched the earth, and around her danced hummingbirds.
Messengers.
They did not speak, but I felt what they carried:
Speed. Light. Direction.
The kind of guidance that appears for only a moment… and is gone before you fully grasp it.
This painting is for those sacred seconds - where freedom is not a destination, but a flash of recognition.
Where God is not loud, but present.
In the God’s Rope series, animals like this one are messengers of divine presence.
They are the movement we feel when our soul takes a step before we do.
Fleeting Freedom is a visual whisper of what cannot be held - only felt.
And trusted.
